About Avenor Senior High School

Avenor Senior High School is an E-Block school, established in November 2016 as a public community day school. It was initially known as Avenorpeme Community Day Senior High School.

The Paramount Chief Togbui Dorglo Anumah VI on 22nd February 2017 wrote on behalf of the three Wings Chiefs, Torgbuiwo, Mamawo and the people of Avenorpeme and Avenor Traditional Area as a whole for the change of name to AVENOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL.

The school land was donated by Elders of Sesime on one hand and Elders of Kovenu on the other all of Avenorpeme within the Avenor Traditional Area. The school land spans an area of 57.73 acres. The school is located at Avenorpeme between Sesime and Kovenu on Avenorpeme-Hatorgodo road.
